Open Source Radionics – Part 7 – Flexibility through scripting

Scripting in programs gives a user to learn a very simple programming language in order to automate custom flows.

Here are some of my sketches …

Example:

You push a button and attached to this button a script runs which could do different things in a specific order, like blinking a LED or playing a sound from a library or folder.

This allows the users to develop their own little programs without to know abstract programming languages. Not only that, if a user is able to program their own script, than research in radionics will be accelerated. Less boundaries.

While developing AetherOne I will keep in mind that each task should be performed by a script and not “hard coded” in Java.
